“Beyond BOW” Introduction to Shot-gunning

1 day workshop February 20, 2010 

Location: Deer Creek Sporting Clays

(Less than 40 minutes from Tampa International Airport, just off SR52, 6 Miles from I75 exit 285 and 8 Miles from the Suncoast Toll Way.) 

Cost of event $95.00 per person 

Prepaid reservations are required no later than February 8, 2010. Event includes 

An instructional class on shotgun safety and basic shooting techniques taught by Resident coach Roger Gascoigne - the only British Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA) certified coach and Associate Member of the Institute of Clay Shooting Instructors living in Florida. We will go over the fundamentals of gun fit, eye dominance, mount and stance to make sure you have a good foundation. We will examine your technique and make suggestions as to how you can become a more efficient shooter and hence hit more targets. This event will help you sharpen your skills.   

Use of all equipment (shotgun, ammunition, 50 targets/shooting clays, eye and ear protection), transportation on site, and picnic style lunch 

After a morning class we will have a light lunch and spend the afternoon practicing our new skills at many varied stations each offering different shooting scenarios.

Citrus Loop Multiday Hike and Primitive Camp

April 9-10 - 11th

The Citrus Tract, Withlacoochee State Forest is southwest of Inverness and immediately south of SR 44 The Citrus Tract has a dry, all-weather trail on alternately flat and hilly terrain. Perimeter trail mileage totals 43.3. This should be considered a dry trail and you will have to carry in your own water.

This is an open group event that we will limit to 8 persons. You will be responsible for all your own gear and supplies what you carry in you must carry out. If you are up for this personal challenge please contact us at 813-789-0904 no later than March 30th.
